OUR GENERAL SUPERITENDENT

Marius Anyetei Okoh: Son of the Founder of Christ Holy Church International
Marius Anyetei Okoh was a prominent figure in the early development and administration of Christ Holy Church International, also known as Odozi-Obodo. He was the son of Holy Prophetess Agnes Amanye Okoh, the founder of the church.
Early Life and Education
Marius Anyetei Okoh was born on April 15, 1927, to James Okoh and Agnes Amanye Okoh. He received his education in Nigeria and later attended Yaba Higher College in Lagos, where he studied civil engineering.
After completing his education, he began a professional career with Nigeria’s Public Works Department (PWD), where he eventually became one of its senior personnel.
His Contribution to Christ Holy Church
Although Marius had a professional career outside the church, he became deeply involved in supporting his mother’s ministry.
As the church grew, he contributed significantly to its organization and administration. He helped introduce more systematic methods of keeping church records, including attendance and financial records. He also played an important role in organizing the work of pastors and other church workers.
Marius was particularly influential in helping the church develop a more structured administrative system as its membership and activities expanded.
The Registration of Christ Holy Church
One of Marius Okoh’s important contributions was his involvement in the formal development and registration of the church.
The church had previously been known as Christ Apostolic Church (Odozi-Obodo). Through Marius’s efforts and leadership, the organization eventually adopted the name Christ Holy Church, which was registered in January 1975.
This marked an important stage in the institutional development of the ministry founded by his mother, Prophetess Agnes Amanye Okoh.
Leadership in the Church
Marius Anyetei Okoh became the first General Superintendent of Christ Holy Church. In this position, he helped strengthen the church’s administration and supported the growth of the organization.
His contribution was particularly important because he combined his professional and administrative experience with his commitment to the ministry founded by his mother.
Because of his significant contribution to the establishment and development of the church, Marius Okoh was later recognized posthumously as a co-founder of Christ Holy Church.
